The College Director/ Principal Role
The CDP is responsible for creating and sustaining a positive workplace culture underpinned by the Navitas values. They are the custodian of the College's strategic plan, quality agenda and day to day operations of the College. They are therefore responsible for the educational environment of the College inclusive of the student experience, academic quality, delivery and management of administrative protocols; maintenance and enhancement of the quality assurance agenda; and the management of programme review, development and approval. The CDP is expected to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team inclusive of Marketing and Admission, and the Student/Academic Services team.

More specifically, the CDP is expected to undertake a broad range of duties including:

* Leading the College in terms of culture building, visioning, strategy, operations, partnership and change
* Developing and managing the College's Planning process inclusive of the overall Strategic Plan, Learning and Teaching Plan, Continuous Enhancement Plan, Annual Programme Review Plan and the HER (QAA) Action Plan
* Managing the relationship with the University through the formal governance process as well as through ongoing and regular interaction with the University community
* Ensuring a formal record of College business is maintained with action plans as appropriate including the production of the College annual report and minuted College Senior Management Team meetings (CSMT)
* Managing key academic metrics inclusive of pass, progression and retention rates
* Providing a range of learning opportunities to students compatible with the QAA Quality Code
* Chairing the Module Panel and Progression Boards and ensure that the Boards are conducted with integrity
* Managing the relationship with External Examiners
* Managing the HER (QAA) process in partnership with the Director of Student Experience and Academic Quality
* Managing the relationship with the University on all matters related to the annual Tracer Study
* Supporting the College Director of Marketing and Admission (DMA) in the marketing, sales and admission function via liaison with the University partner International Office, the Admission and Recruitment Centre (ARC) and the Source Country Office (SCO) recruitment network
* Managing the budgetary and latest estimate process as well as ancillary financial tasks, including accounts payable
* Liaising with partner University Faculties, Schools, Departments and the Quality Office of the University with respect to matters embedded in the formal Recognition Agreement
* Serving and being a key influencer and driving force as a member of the key Governance
* Committees/Boards, as established under the Recognition Agreement
* Reviewing and updating all College Policies and Regulations (CPRs) to ensure they remain relevant and fit for purpose
