Are you looking for your next step as a Teaching assistant? Would you like to work in an ‘Ofsted’ graded ‘outstanding’ school? We are currently working with an ‘Outstanding’ specialist support school in Radcliffe, Bury and they are currently looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support in a year 8 class for young people with severe learning difficulties.

Ideally the successful candidate will have the relevant training and experience of working in special education. This school is looking for a candidate who will be able to support the ‘Outstanding’ ethos and reputation this school has and continue to provide support to pupils within a broad, creative and inspiring curriculum. This school has a large focus on promoting and developing life skills and as such the successful candidate would need to be motivated, passionate and have the right attitude to help support the children through their educational journey.

Working as a Teaching assistant within this school you would be required to work with children with a variety of needs as well as supporting those pupils through 1:1 support, helping them develop their academic and life skills. You will be required to support the classroom teacher by developing positive relationships with the students helping the teacher deliver the ‘outstanding’ lessons that are provided.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Experience with children with ASD, PMLD, SLD in Educational environments.
* A passion to improve the lives of students through a variety of teaching techniques.
* Enthusiasm and a passion for continued improvement for the students and yourself.

This school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to continue there ‘Outstanding’ results but also the capacity to adapt and improve within a constantly improving school.
