Job IntroductionTake your seat, adjust your headset and get ready to join our award-winning contact centre team. As one of our Customer Service Advisers, you'll be the first port of call for customers who phone us with queries, and these could come from new or existing customers. The team is currently recruiting for advisers to work across the savings and mortgage areas of the business and to help them continue winning awards. Main ResponsibilitiesBrace yourself - you're going to be busy! Right from the off you're going to be answering the phone, responding to queries, ending the call and being eager to help the next customer. Each customer is unique, so there will be a wide variety of enquiries to maintain your interest and you'll have all the training you need to deal with anything that comes your way. This isn't the sort of role where you can take a back seat. As part of the team that gives Skipton its voice, you'll be measured on things like accuracy of information, customer satisfaction and your availability to our customers. It can be pretty full on, but you'll have plenty of support from your team, as well as monthly 121s, regular feedback, quarterly reviews and the chance to tell us how things are going with you.  Ideal CandidateImagine someone who's inquisitive, positive, resilient and enthusiastic with brilliant customer service skills to boot. You'll be joining a team of more than 200 people and operating in smaller teams of up to 15.
