Full time Science Teacher required for a Salford based Secondary School, from September 2019 on a temporary supply basis for two terms.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a renowned Secondary School based in the heart of Salford to recruit a passionate Science Teacher to work with their school community on a full time basis in the new academic year.

* Full time Science Teacher required from September 2019.
* Must hold QTS – both experienced teachers along side newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply as full induction support can be provided through the school.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS �23, 720 - �39, 406.

Due to a leadership restructure this well known mixed comprehensive Secondary school is seeking to appoint an additional member of staff within the Science faculty. The incoming General Science teacher can expect to join an established staff team, well known for being in the public eye, developing innovative methods to support their pupils.

The Successful Science teacher will be required to;

* Promote the school’s vision, aims, objectives and values.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
* Effectively teach the National curriculum within the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
* Develop schemes of work, resources, teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of all pupils.
* Plan, Prepare and Assess Class work, in accordance with Senior Leadership Teams.

Located in the Worsley region of Salford, this growing Secondary school has just over 600 pupils on roll, aged 11-16. Salford can be accessed via the M602/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Manchester. There are also various public transport options available with links throughout Greater Manchester.
