We have a fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planner that is looking to step up. The role is only managing a very small team of 1-2 people and will be based in Hemel Hempstead.

Demand Planning Manager duties will include:

- Lead and contribute to the preparation of the S&OP meetings with heads of the different functions
- To lead and provide development to the team
- Maintain and adjust forecast, baseline and events, and promotional forecast in APO weekly
- Create a launch plan, monthly sales forecast, for approved launch quantity for the full marketing year based on business case.
- Lead collaboration projects with strategic customers e.g. KPI sharing, joint planning and logistics, and deploying international collaboration projects into the UK and Ireland
- Develop strong working relationships with your Supply Planner colleagues based in Dusseldorf
- Steer replacement of old products by creating a phase-in-out timing model and inform Supply Chain and Sales accordingly
- Anticipate and recognize out of stock situations, developing alternatives with Supply Chain
- Coordinate customer priorities with sales, and inform the Customer Service team about priorities
- Measure and manage KPIs and control processes to meet business targets
- Work alongside key business partners to manage through the supply of large customer demands


The ideal Demand Planning Manager:

- Previous Demand Planning experience
- People management experience
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP and APO-DP
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
