Are you an experienced Technical Support Analyst who is looking for a new opportunity to work a 6 month contract in Darlington? You will be working as part of the Product Certification & Compliance team assisting with some technical admin within the team to support the Team Leader.

Must have:

- Some Technical knowledge at degree/college level; Science degree, Engineering etc. or

some technical interests or worked in a previously technical environment.

- Must be admin & process focused

- Ability to manage multiple admin tasks at once

Key Responsibilities:

* To help compile, submit and maintain certification updates and running changes, with support and guidance from the certification team, submit changes to the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA).

* Pro-actively, manage and maintain approvals listed on the Internal website.

* Support the team on data collecting and collating – certification investigations, rule identification, build working relationships and contacts internally.

* Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders using agreed process.

* Facilitate customer enquiry/request process.

* Maintain databases and electronic file systems.

* Filtering and tracking of certification and compliance issues.

* Creating, uploading and maintain the compliance procedures.

* Creating /maintain the hopper for compliance and a tracking system.

* Coordinate and ensure successful execution of events including audits, press, certification visits.

* Maintain certification and compliance FE activities. For example, compile and maintain a list of work instructions with support and guidance from the PC&C Europe team.

* General administrative work, covering stationary ordering, room booking, diary/calendar management, support the financial monthly cross-charge process including VCA invoices, tracking of cross charging recovery, controlling the Special Order Exemption process, Support with travel bookings.

Critical Skills and knowledge required:

Self-starter with strong organisational skills.

Experience dealing with external customers.

Teamwork experience.

Proven experience in Microsoft, excel, word, power point, outlook and computer social and business networks.

Must demonstrate a positive, professional attitude to their work.

Solid foundation.

Qualifications and education:

Ideally possess a business or organisational related qualification.

Experience required:

1 – 3 years of experience.

Leading projects.
