Job Purpose: As part of the Management Team, the Technical Compliance Manager will deliver the Statutory Compliance Project Work outlined by the client. This will include understanding scope requirements, planning and implementing a programme of works to deliver the scope, reviewing and presenting results to the stakeholders and providing the necessary reporting as required. This role is also to act as the Senior Accountable Person across all FM sites for all electrical works / safety activity taking place across the sites for both Project Work and Business as Usual. This role is key to supporting the client in fulfilling their statutory compliance and health and safety requirements in relation to the scope of works. This role will also offer support, advice and guidance to the contract Team as necessary. Principal Accountabilities: Ownership of statutory compliance activities for all specified Project Work. Accountable Person responsibility for Electrical Systems for both Project Work and Business as Usual across the FM buildings supporting the client, the team and their subcontractors. Development and ongoing maintenance of project plans for identified activity. Manage and make available to the site team, client and subcontractors relevant documentation as required. Produce Schematics as required. Provide technical compliance advice to both the client and the team as required. Ensure all logbooks and paperwork are completed correctly and kept up to date. Produce monthly management reports and management information as necessary. Support the management of sub-contractor compliance and control. Develop and deliver audits, aligned with Company and client requirements. Ensure all activities are compliant with statutory and health, safety and environmental standards. Ad hoc projects and initiatives as directed by the Contract Director. Candidate Profile Person Specification The ideal candidate will be: Qualified to HNC/Degree level in an Engineering discipline with proven management experience and be fully competent in electrical safety. Candidates must be effective communicators, both written and verbal, and have proven experience in developing and maintaining working relationships with clients. Proven leadership qualities, strong influencing skills and experience within a similar role. Working experience of being an Accountable Person for Electrical Safety. Working experience of HSE ACOP's and guidance. Experience of related facilities management systems (e.g. BMS, CAFM). Experience in a technical role. Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Project. Ability to plan and prioritise. Smart, presentable appearance. A self starter able to operate alone and as part of a team. Innovative and focused on continuous improvement.
