An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Executive to join an award-winning, forward-thinking Independent Insurance broker in Burgess Hill, to help drive forward the Commercial Division Marketing strategy.

Playing an integral part in our Commercial Team, you'll act as a brand ambassador, identifying and developing opportunities to build brand awareness and maintain consistency across the business.

You'll have the confidence to take ownership of creating and managing engaging content across various marketing channels (including social media, website, DM, events and exhibitions), whilst also working closely with our Twickenham-based Marketing Executive to collaborate on company-wide marketing projects, communications and events.

Whilst we're looking for experience and strong technical Marketing skills, we're also passionate about personality, team fit and someone who could make a really positive difference to the wider company.

The Marketing Executive role:

Your role will be varied, interesting and, at times, challenging. Most of all, it will be rewarding. Typical responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with the Commercial Sales Leadership Team to develop compelling content and strategically effective marketing propositions
- Writing, designing and producing internal communications & liaison with printers/ suppliers to oversee production
- Providing design and graphics for websites, e-marketing and print collateral
- Contributing towards the creation of the Commercial Division and Company marketing plans and its implementation
- Conducting market research and conduct customer satisfaction surveys
- Organising Webinars, corporate entertainment and other events
- Managing and updating website content

The successful Marketing Executive will have:

- Strong understanding of Marketing and Sales techniques
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Experience of utilising social media as a marketing tool
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
- Understanding of digital marketing techniques (i.e. Google Analytics, PPC)
- Effective, confident & considerate communication skills both in writing & verbally and an ability to adapt your communication style accordingly
- Intuitive thinking and confident decision making
- A willing approach to training and personal development
- IT confidence (MS Office and MAC operation) and ideally, experience of using HTML and CSS
- Ideally educated to degree level in Marketing related subject or equivalent industry experience.
