Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a SEND school in Sunderland who are seeking a Teacher on a full time basis, to commence after the May half term.

The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with students across Key Stages 1 and 2; the students have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The main element of the role will be helping the children to engage with their learning, and encouraging personal and social development whilst managing challenging behaviour in lesson time. You will be working with small class sizes of pupils and will be responsible for planning and marking work completed. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of staff to manage and track pupil’s behaviour and learning.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour. You will be comfortable teaching across the curriculum and will be confident managing challenging behaviour within your classroom.

Teaching Personnel can offer Teachers up to �130 per day, for the right candidate longer term rates can be negotiated on your behalf. This role will commence after the May half term on a full time basis through school hours and there is opportunity for a permanent contract to the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
