Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our logistics team in Bonnyrigg.

What will I be responsible for?

We are looking for a pro-active and professional Customer Service Advisor to become part of our logistics team, to champion, develop and help the business to deliver a first class customer service experience and ensures our services remain safe, compliant, efficient and profitable.

- Answer, log and resolve all inbound enquiries (verbal and written) to the depot in a timely and professional manner, introducing new or improved services to new and existing customers where appropriate.
- Initiate, maintain and review all customer data on the appropriate systems ensuring customer requests are communicated effectively within the depot.
- Maintain a detailed log of the depots customer gains and losses.
- Promote national and local Viridor services to new and existing customers.
- Submit quotations and draw up contracts using pre-defined depot pricing matrix.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures and ISO Standards at all times.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor with excellent PC skills and a good track record of customer services or related activities within a multi-site, high speed environment, preferably within a similar administration role or environment.

The role demands great customer service skills, together with the ability to build effective working relationships over the telephone. Great planning and organisational skills are also essential in order to effectively prioritise tasks within a high pressure environment.
