Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an SEND provision in Hartlepool which is seeking a Teacher to work with students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The students are vulnerable children in need of extra support and guidance with their English and Maths as well Science and some humanities as well as personal development and social skills. The main element of the role will be helping the students to engage with their learning, and encouraging personal and social development whilst managing challenging behaviour in lesson time to maximise learning. Many of the students will display behaviour such as social anxiety or ADHD.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour. The client school welcomes candidates with backgrounds in education, youth/social work and counselling. You will be passionate about improving the lives of young people. Teaching Personnel can offer Teacher's competitive pay rates of �130 per day. This position will be held on a long term basis until at least the end of the academic year, however you will have further work opportunities should this position not be required in the new academic year.
