£130 to £150k basic + bonus

My client specialises in the demand for brand-safe environments and high-quality pan-European online video campaigns at scale and they are looking for a strategic thinking Chief Product Officer (CPO) who will own the product vision, product design, product implementation and oversight of the firm's product and technology platform and supporting operations in accordance with the agreed strategy.

The agency focuses on programmatic video campaigns, which involves the automated and data-driven management of digital advertising purchases and sales.

Headquartered in London, the agency designs a joint innovation strategy to create new ways for advertisers to reach their customers. They leverage technology, research and premium content effectively to maintain the highest standard of quality and innovation for its digital media offerings.

- Selling programmatic and managed service video campaigns across top premium inventory.
- Selling in stream pre and mid-roll campaigns on programmatic guaranteed across premium inventory.
- Building and sell its own unique Pan-European products on an integrated programmatic tech stack.

Job brief

Reporting to the CEO and working as a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Product Officer (CPO) is responsible for running all of the firm's product and associated teams. With a particular focus on delivery, new features and enhancement of the agencies technology platform.

The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will provide sound product leadership in all aspects of their business. They will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure the company's product are used appropriately.

Strategic thinking, strong technical ability and business acumen is essential in this role. They expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.


Define, architect and develop the agency product offering. Ensuring alignment with the business strategy and goals.

Research, design and implement new product/technologies ideas that yield competitive advantage.

Proof of concept creation and presenting cost benefit analysis.

Product marketing, to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our customers and business strategy.

Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Build quality assurance and data protection processes/GDPR compliance.

Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.

Document the product buildout which includes network and system infrastructure and it's characteristics.

Ensure internal resources and third parties are co-ordinated for integration with 3rd party platforms and services.

Ensure agency product/technological leadership position by considering future market trends and customer needs in order to identify creative solutions or define new products and revenue streams.

Articulate the companys product/technology strategy and product portfolio, positioning it to staff, partners and investors.
