HR Manager

Location: Cumbernauld

Salary: Up to �45,000 per annum

Hours of Work: 39 hours, Monday - Friday

CMS Window Systems is an industry leading building envelope contractor specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems.

Due to our continued success and growth, we are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join the HR team in a permanent, full-time position.

Based from our manufacturing site in Castlecary, Cumbernauld, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the day to day management of the HR function. They will embed HR best practice throughout the Company and ensure activities are aligned with our strategic business objectives in addition to developing, educating and supporting line managers on a wide range of employment issues. The successful candidate will be required to manage and implement a number of key HR projects, which will include implementing a new HRIS / T&A System.

Key responsibilities:

* Ensuring that company HR policies and processes are implemented properly and consistently and that there are effective systems of compliance and audit.
* Developing, educating and supporting stakeholders on a wide range of employee relations issues.
* Leading, managing and undertaking specific HR projects including Performance Management, Learning and Development, Reward and Recognition and Employee Engagement.
* Ensuring the collation of quantitative employee information including detailed HR reports, HR trends, analysing and implementing courses of action to address any potential risk areas
* Sharing knowledge regarding employment trends and changes in legislation as they impact on our business. Ensure HR activity is conducted in an ethical and legally compliant manner.
* Co-ordinating the training of managers, supervisors and employees.

Qualifications and Experience required:

* A relevant HR qualification with CIPD accreditation.
* Experience of operating at management level within HR in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
* Demonstratable success in the design and delivery of appropriate HR processes and policies.
* Strong employment law knowledge.
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
* Experience with implementing / developing HR systems.
