My Client who are a leading manufacturer within their chosen field is seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to join their team due to continued growth.
The main purpose of this role will be to support the Facilities Manager to oversee the facilities function, demonstrating a positive and professional approach to all areas of the role.

Facilities Team Leader Requirements:
- Experienced in working within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work hands on and support the facilities team when necessary
- Experienced supervising staff- the team will be made up of joiners, electricians and labourers
- Proficient with Microsoft packages including Excel and Powerpoint
- Prepared to undertake site visits, meet contractors and the client as required
- FLT License (Desireable)
- IOSH (Desireable)

Facilities Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Coach and assist in the development of the staff by helping employees look for opportunities to develop and succeed in their job.
- Compilation of monthly reporting, processing of invoices and managing the consumable spend in line with budgets and agreed stock control procedures.
- Supplier quotations and capital expense request submissions in line with the site's future factory vision and strategic activities that require contractor support
- Overseeing the day to day running of the Facilities Office in line with agreed service levels and ensuring the Facilities Services Manager is kept updated via verbal and written reports.
- Supporting the recruitment and induction of team members will be key, and participate in training of new staff and with the continued development of current Facilities Services staff.
- Monitoring and supervising staff to ensure compliance with agreed procedures i.e. operational processes, quality control procedures, conduct, attire, performance and attendance.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and utilised and assist the Site Facilities Manager in the full introduction of an effective predictive, planned and preventative maintenance system. (Shire systems Pirana CMMS)
- Aware of and responsible for the day to day health and safety requirements for your team and working area and actively participate in all on site health and safety audits, inductions and assessments.
- Support a strong continuous improvement initiative with all key stakeholders and company management and lead the adoption of 5S working practices in the maintenance area and for all maintenance employees working across the business.
- Monitor the implementation of site management plans waste and responsible for ensuring the facilities team comply with regulations
