The Collections and Customer Support Advisor ...

As a Collections and Customer Support Advisor, you will be talking to customers and their guarantors on a daily basis via telephone (never face-to-face) and using other methods of correspondence to manage your cases (letter, SMS, email, live chat).

You will need to gain an understanding of which customers are genuinely struggling to make their repayments and those who are unwilling to do so. You'll need to negotiate and plan an effective programme of repayment that meets the need of the customer and the business. Some of these conversations will be challenging, but you will need to show empathy and understanding towards every customers' situation.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week including one Saturday a month paid at time and a half.

To be successful as a Collections and Customer Support Advisor, it is important to build a rapport with the customers you are working with, whilst explaining the actions they must take to keep up with their agreement with us. You will need to be:
