Administrator/ Trainee Administrator

Location: Northampton

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 37.5 hours per week on Monday to Friday

We design and manufacture the multi award-winning Endolite range of lower limb prostheses and provide clinical services to the NHS, military and patients internationally. With 128 years of innovation and expertise behind us, we produce the world's most advanced microprocessor artificial limbs.

We are now looking for an Administrator, to work as an integral part of our specialist team in Northamptonshire and support our orthotics service by providing the best customer service to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join a small admin team based in Northampton and provide outstanding admin support to a busy orthotics department.

We welcome applications from trainees who are looking for their first administration opportunity, with excellent training and support, and we will happily support apprentices who wish to undertake a relevant qualification. We also welcome applications from experienced administrators who are looking for a new challenge, in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Responsibilities of the Administrator/ Trainee Administrator:

* Preparing and closing clinic rooms for the orthotist before and after clinic
* Keeping patient clinic rooms fully stocked of equipment, leaflets and catalogues.
* Guiding patients into the clinic rooms and acting as a chaperone
* Assisting orthotists with manual handling support as required for patient positioning and casting, and using a hoist as required

Requirements of the Administrator/ Trainee Administrator:

Ideally, the successful candidate will be well organised and have a professional, efficient working style, with excellent attention to detail. They will be flexible and self-motivated, with a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills. Regular interaction with patients and colleagues throughout the Centre, including our team of Orthotists and Technicians, Consultants and other Healthcare professionals, means that good interpersonal skills, including a pleasant and confident telephone manner are important. The nature of the role is varied so the successful candidate will maintain high standards when working to varying deadlines and when working under pressure.
