I have a 4 month contract for a Apple Mac Specialist Engineer to be based in Winchester. This role is paying up to �403 a day outside ir35 so you can go LTD for this role.

The client is looking for an experienced Apple Mac Specialist Engineer to support our Server 2016 Migration projects. The project is migrating services from a Windows 2008 platform, to a supported Windows 2016 platform, within the Education Domain. The focus of this role will be to support this project in delivering an upgraded platform on to new servers, this will include the re-sequencing of all associated applications.

The role is to deliver:

 Design and build a new Image for the Apple suites ready to be sent for UAT, this is to be delivered by day 10, agreed and signed off by the Project Manager or Tech Lead.

 The successful migration of the service and associated infrastructure and documentation. (Two School Apple Suites each with approx. 15 devices each) Delivering a fully functional service, to be signed off by the Project Manager or Tech Lead. To be delivered by day 35.

 The successful creation of a process to upgrade Apple devices to the latest OSX versions and provide Windows integration for Authentication. All supporting documentation to be delivered. To be delivered by day 35, assessed and signed off by the Project Manager or tech lead.

 The successful creation of Apple Profiles to provide a controlled desktop for Staff & Students. To be delivered by day 35, fully tested and documented, assessed and signed off by the Project Manager or tech lead.

 The successful sequencing of a number of applications using Filewave for deployment to the Apple devices. Delivered by day 35, fully tested and documented. Sign off by the Project Manager or tech lead.

 Complete site visits on the school premises, working with the technical contact within each school to fully test the new function to ensure they are fully working. These are to be completed between day 35 and 40. Checked by the end user and signed off by the Project Manager or tech lead.

 Ability to visit customer sites within Hampshire, in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role experience of working with Apple Mac is essential, specifically with Windows Domain Integration. Microsoft Active Directory experience is also essential. Experience of working with Filewave would also be desirable.
