Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

* Work in conjunction with FEs Operations Director to devise and implement sales strategy for the business region fostering alignment with corporate goals.
* Sales and Business Development for the business within the region
* Identify and develop the strategic business opportunities and sales development
* Support wider Sales Capability for multi-Discipline Projects
* Implement the regional business plan for the business fostering alignment with corporate goals.
* Provide strategic and operational support to the business
* Managing profit and loss for sales and projects developed
* Overseeing day-to-day operations and sales in your region keeping the FE Business appraised of significant events.
* Financial reporting, cost control and profitability of business activities and orders/projects
* Implement and manage operational plans for Key Accounts as determined
* Carry out project management on multi-disciplined projects as the need arises.
* Manage and develop third party relations and strategic service partner networks for service delivery
* Drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
* Liaise with other Group businesses to develop self-delivery approach and identify other opportunities for Group services
* Liaison with adi team to assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity and business development
* Work together with the group to further develop strong working relationships with identified strategic clients.
* To target and develop new key customer relationships primarily in the food & beverage and the automated logistics industries, however not precluding other opportunities in line with the Group strategy.
* Develop new key customer relationships each year to generate �2,000,000 of revenue against a 10% GM for the group per calendar year, comprising of multi-year maintenance contracts for facilities and utilities operation and maintenance.
* To develop and issue contract tenders and bids as required during sales strategy.
* To manage all existing and new clients within sales strategy as required to ensure contract performance and continual growth.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

* To identify and communicate any problems/barriers affecting realisation of potential business or opportunities for improvements to your manager, with suggestions for resolution where possible. Do not wait to be managed.
* To be familiar with the Staff Guide, Management Philosophy and Leadership Philosophy and live the Company Values. Be aware and understand the company's policies.
* To take responsibility for your own Personal Development Plan (PDP) and assist in documenting good practice.
* To carry out any reasonable tasks in accordance with your position, aiming to add value.
* To acquire and maintain an appropriate knowledge of adi products, services and customer applications, industry and process knowledge.
* To keep abreast of competitor activity and market conditions, pertinent to your specialization.
* To operate to company and agreed procedures on document handling and other relevant data sheets.
* To operate with high integrity at all times.
* Comply with risk assessments and method statements
* Always use the PPE specified in risk assessments and method statements
* Comply with customer site rules
