Role: Project Engineer – Waste to Fuel projects
Location: Epsom
Rate �31 per hour Ltd
Start Date: ASAP

I am looking for a Project Engineer who will be required to support Project and Engineering Management on Waste to Synfuels and Decarbonisation Projects (e.g. Hydrogen, CCS): The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry

Responsibilities Include:
�Coordinate work of Engineering Disciplines,
�Coordinate interfaces with Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Client, Site, and Major Vendors and Licensors,
�Program monitoring, weekly progress reporting, weekly progress meetings,
�Identification of Change to Contract, and management of Technical aspects of Variations,
�Management of Action Lists, Decision Registers, Safety & Health Action Registers,
�Identification of major technical issues, facilitating resolution, and recording through Technical Notes,
�Organisation of formal Design Reviews (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP),
�Input to proposals,
�Support to Site,
�Management of Technical Queries and Site Queries
�Provide technical leadership of equipment, systems, or technology and make unsupervised technical decisions.
�Selecting equipment, systems, and technology.
�Develop design specifications from scratch.
�Capable of self-checking own work. Limited checking of documents in accordance with Work Instruction
�Capable of planning own work and the work of others.
�Manage others man hours within discipline. Able to provide man hour estimates for changes and discrete work scopes.
�Capable of understanding what is a change and formally raising change notification. Capable of providing leadership in role to control change unless authorized to proceed.
�Attend Factory Acceptance Tests of Equipment / Packages.
�Support site visits, site work, and project interface with Client and Construction Teams.
�Capable of directing training and development of self. Responsible for own development.

Skills and Experience:
�Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry
�Relevant Engineering Degree
