Human Resources Assistant & PA to Director (1-year fixed term)

Location: Oxford City Centre

Salary: Up to �25,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

About the Company:

Mogford Hotels and Restaurants is a collection of independently owned businesses all located within Oxford city centre; the Old Bank Hotel, Old Parsonage Hotel, Quod Restaurant & Bar, Parsonage Grill, and Gee's Restaurant.

The Assistant HR & PA to the Director of Operations, will report directly to the Head of HR, supporting just over 200 employees, and also work closely with the Director of Operations and Proprietor.

Human Resources Assistant & PA to Director Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the Head of HR to support and positively challenge the teams to motivate their own success.
* Assist with the coordination of all HR, training and recruitment related activity to support the Heads of Department within our five businesses.
* Responsibility for the continued implementation and monitoring of the Company's Human Resources strategy, ensuring the needs of the business are achieved whilst maintaining full compliance with legislative and statutory standards.
* Support the processing of payroll, ensuring that all HR aspects are complete and up to date.
* Projects include a proactive recruitment drive and assisting on updating the management training course.
* Assist the Director of Operations and Proprietor with a variety of tasks related to planning, organisation and procurement.

Human Resources Assistant & PA to Director Requirements:

* Best suited to an established HR professional who has experience within the hospitality sector.
* Highly beneficial to have completed the level three HR qualification, a HR and / or hospitality degree, although full training will be given.
* Familiarity with the dynamic and fast-moving pace of the Hotel and Restaurant industry.
* Enjoys maintaining relationships with our managers and their teams, provide legally sound employee relations guidance and ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
