This reputable mixed dental practice, located in the heart of Wokingham, are looking to recruit for an experienced Dental Nurse to deliver high level of Patient care.
This is a Full time role, working from Monday to Friday.Working 40 hours per week.
However the practice will also consider part time applicants too.
The practices is open 5 days per week with 2 late nights and they will be open 1 Saturday per month.
This Orthodontic practice strives to deliver  high level of patient care. The practice are eager to improve year to year on,
All candidates MUST be fully qualified, GDC registered. This is an Ortho practice. No Ortho experience will be necessary as training will be provided.
Duties vary from:
-Keep the clinical areas and all equipment instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers’ instructions
-Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order
-Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
-Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
-Handle all substances in accordance with health & safety policies
-Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, infection control, waste disposal etc
-Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
-Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
-Order new stock supplies as necessary
-Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
-Ordering checking and receiving stock room materials
-Close surgeries at the end of each working day
Ideal candidates Must:
-Fully qualified and GDC registered
-Always ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
-Attend and participate in practice meetings
-Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
-Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
-Work as team member supporting other members of the team
-Above all, a positive and pro-active attitude
Salary: £9-12ph DOE.
This is a 3 surgery practice,Fully equipped, computerised using AssistOrth (Doit)
