Commercial Account Handler

Salary: �21,000 - �24,000 per annum

Location: Rainford, St Helens

About the Company:

A well-established Financial Services Practice, largest independent broker in St Helens, is currently seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their highly successful team providing a personalised financial planning service to clients.

Commercial Account Handler Responsibilities:

* Day to day responsibility for administration of book of Commercial Lines business.
* To provide advice and excellent service to new and existing clients negotiating with clients and the insurance marketplace to ensure the product(s) sold to them meets their requirements at a competitive premium
* To retain clients and seek to cross sell any additional cover or gaps in existing cover by regularly reviewing products available and current client needs.
* To ensure that cover continually meets client's requirements by conducting regular reviews of their needs.
* To provide a prompt and accurate service regarding any mid-term alterations requested by the client.
* To process policy renewals in accordance with the standard company renewal procedures as set out in the procedures manual.
* Action incoming correspondence and telephone calls as appropriate, prioritize workloads and ensure all documentation received either from clients or insurers is accurate.
* Arrange payment facilities for clients. Respond to queries generated by the Accounts department in accordance with the timescales outlined in the company's procedures manual.
* To assist other members of the team department as and when required.
* Promote and embed the principles of equality and valuing diversity.

Commercial Account Handler Requirements:

* Substantial experience and accountability in an insurance role.
* Expertise in Commercial lines insurance
* Breadth and depth of technical competency in the fields of:

* Property Owners Insurance
* Fleet Insurance
* Commercial Combined
* Tradesman Insurance
* Shop/Office/surgery Insurance

* Experience of working with broker back office systems
* Experience gained within the insurance industry
* High level of customer service experience
* Strong business focus
* Track record in 'Customer Experience' at a high level - involving continuous process improvement
* Results and future focused
* Accustomed to delivering in demanding high paced organizations
