Supported Housing Administrative Officer

20 hours per week- All day Monday and Tuesday (9-5pm), and Wednesday (12-5pm)

Nottingham on Call is our 24/7 call centre providing specialist advice and support primarily to elderly residents across Nottingham City and surrounding areas who use our Telecare emergency response systems. We also act as an emergency repairs centre for tenants outside of office hours.
Joining an established team, the primary focus of this role is to provide a robust administrative, financial and marketing support service for the Supported Housing service provided by the Nottingham on Call and Independent Living Team.
Duties of this varied and challenging role will include a wide range of financial administration support including; processing direct debit instructions, manage the end of service accounts, chasing debt in accordance with the debt policy, raising purchase orders, chasing outstanding orders with suppliers where appropriate and raising invoices for individual and corporate customers
You will have a commitment to a high quality customer service, as you will be the first point of contact in regards to phone queries from both the Nottingham on Call and Independent living services, where you will be responsible for directing enquiries to the appropriate officer. You will display excellent communication skills and a sensitive nature as you will be supporting a wide range of stakeholders, including tenants with dementia, anti-social behaviour issues and health issues.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as you will be required to prepare comprehensive written reports, spreadsheets and written correspondence. You will show high levels of accuracy and attention to detail to accurate input data and maintain concise manual records.
