Wedding Specialist

Location: Chipping Norton, OX7 5UE

Salary: �22,000 to �29,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours of Work: 160 hours per 4-week period, covering 5 out of 7 days which will include working on Saturdays

About the Company:

Our client's mission is to give their guests a great time, with memories that last a lifetime. They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Wedding Specialist.

Our client is set in 440 acres of woodland, gardens, historic landmarks and landscaped grounds. The hotel provides over 350 bedrooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities for up to 450 delegates a marquee for up to 800 delegates, plus 7 bars and up to 4 restaurants. Also located at the Resort is an 18-hole championship standard golf course and a Health Club with spa treatment rooms.

This role is to achieve the budgeted weddings and social events revenue segment by pro-actively selling and converting wedding and social event enquiries from conception to conclusion. You will be innovative with creative ideas to sell weddings and events and stay in close contact with the client to ensure all their needs are met.

Wedding Specialist Responsibilities:

* To be visible to the customer on the wedding day and perform the meet and greet service
* Ensure clear and accurate communication between departments are undertaken on the handover and delivery of all wedding and social events
* To anticipate customer needs whenever possible to enhance the quality of service offered by the hotels; to ensure customer loyalty is maintained
* Provide a first-class sales site tour which delivers the WOW factor and shows in conversion levels increasing
* Advise on wedding etiquette and trends ensuring HPR becomes a leader in the field
* To provide the client with clear final detail confirmation
* Increase wedding photography stock, testimonials and referrals through relationship
* To support weddings and social events revenue segment ensuring budgeted targets and revenue is achieved along with the Wedding Sales Manager
* To enter all bookings / revenue in to Opera to the agreed standard
* To ensure correct charges are in place on all agreements and function sheets in line with the selling strategy
* Keep detailed records so costs stay within budget
* To increase the number of weddings and social event site tours to a minimum of 6 per week
* Proactively identify wedding planners, wedding bloggers, wedding specialists, networking forums to sell and promote HPR website and number one wedding venue in Oxfordshire
* Ensure the weddings section on the HPR website and 3rd party websites are up to date showing the latest offers, packages, available dates and imagery, testimonials and recommendations
* To proactively increase the number of charity and corporate social events for optimum occupancy (through cold calling and previous sales leads) for the Enstone and Ballroom
* To host and organise a minimum of 2 wedding showcases per year and monthly open evenings
* To work with suppliers ensuring quality relationships are in place and any suppliers we work with actively promote our venue through partnerships
* To follow up on all enquiries and ensure the sales processes are being followed to aid conversion
* To follow up on all lost, denied, lapsed and turned down historic social events ensuring all leads are tracked and no opportunities are missed
* Responsible for preparing, sending and ensuring signed booking agreem
