Our client are a leading Independent Connections Provider offering Multi Utility services to residential developers across the UK from concept to completion. Due to their continued growth, they have an opportunity for an Electrical Authorised Person to cover projects in the Kent/Sussex region.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Approved Person:

* Overseeing the installation of electric mains, services and jointing on a portfolio of projects, supervising teams of Electrical Operatives and sub-contractors.
* Working closely with the HSEQ department and ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one focus across all your projects and teams.
* Ensuring all jointing teams hold the correct equipment and tools to carry out daily duties.
* Ensure all Point of Connection dates are adhered to and not missed.
* Report damaged or faulty HV/LV networks.
* Assist in LV jointing roles when required, Link, Switch and fuse UK networks adhering to DNO specification at all times.
* Organise work schedules and maintain timesheets.
* Maintain communication channel between teams, clients and site agents.
* Maintain Company Vans to a high specification ensuring clean, tidy and stocked in line with their company brand
* Utilising a range of office software including e-mail and microsoft suite.

Requirements of the Electrical Approved Person:

* They are open to candidates that hold a strong background within Jointing looking for your next step, and ideally you will hold some supervisory experience.
* Must have live mains jointing and new connections experience 11Kv and HV switching would be desirable.
* HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or time served.
* Excellent communication skills and Interpersonal Skills
* NRSWA, CSCS, SMSTS and EUSR and relevant DNO authorisations.
* Full clean UK license and access to an appropriately insured vehicle
