History teacher required in Bishop Auckland to start in September

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a History specialist to work within a hard-working humanities department. The large secondary school in Bishop Auckland require the successful candidate to teach History to Key stage 3 and 4 to a mixed range of abilities. If successful, you will be joining an extremely supportive Humanities department to help you settle into your new role.

* Full time History teacher
* September Start
* Daily rates from �120-�180

The ideal candidate

* Have a genuine passion for History and the ability to inspire and interest students through creative lessons
* Support the schools aims and objectives for teaching and learning
* Use an appropriate rang of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for pupils of all backgrounds
* Set prep/homework to extend the knowledge and understanding pupils have acquired as appropriate
