About the role

* Secondary school in Southend
* Required to start in September on a full time basis

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Business Studies teacher for a client Secondary School in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The role will be for a September start and the school are looking for someone to teach on a full time basis. If successful, you will be required to teach Business Studies up to KS5, including A Level and GCSE planning, preparing and marking work so that students are progressing and prepared for their exams. They are looking for a dedicated teacher who will commit to developing the Business and Economics department.


* Prospective candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Ability to teach Business Studies to Key Stage 5
* Have a DBS and ensure it is on the update service (Or willing to apply for one)
* Experience within a similar environment is essential


Within this role, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, in particular the ability to achieve excellent attendance records, develop your communication skills as well as gaining further experience into teaching at advanced level.
