Salary: Depending on experience and capability

Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Contract Type: 4-month temporary contract

About the Company:

The Adler and Allan Group provide a range of professional oil industry services and environmental services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Their services consist of spillage response, disaster relief, fuel and tank installation, fuel distribution and polishing, waste management plus a range of complementary services that includes tank cleaning and testing, pollution prevention and emergency fuel deliveries. They have highly trained teams, specialist equipment and vehicles located within their strategically important network of depots and treatment plants and are one of the UK's leading oil and environmental service providers.

They are seeking to a recruit an Administrator to join the team, based in Uddingston, Glasgow initially on a 4-month contract.

Administrator Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Office Manager, the purpose of this role is to undertake general office duties and additional tasks to support the sales and operations of the division.

* Collation and preparation of all office, works and job paperwork including accurate electronic and document filing.
* Raising Invoices & Purchase Orders.
* Answering the telephone in a professional manner and directing incoming telephone calls appropriately.
* Communicating effectively with a large supplier base and key clients.
* Providing full office cover in the event of absence of other office staff for any reason.

* Providing support to operational staff, for example arranging accommodation, logistics support.
* Maintaining professional standards at the depot.
* Using Microsoft office packages including producing spreadsheets.

* Contributing in any way possible to the success of the Division achieving targets and KPI's.
* Flexibility with overtime at short notice
* Any other duties for which the post holder is qualified and capable to undertake.

Administrator Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a busy dynamic office environment, and in dealing with diverse groups of individuals
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, contractors and clients at all levels (Essential)
* Ability to adapt during busy times and ensure consistency of service
* Possess good IT skills including all Microsoft/Windows office applications (Essential)
* A high degree of accuracy
* Good knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets
* Training will be given where necessary; however, the company are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual possessing a willingness to undertake additional duties to be an asset to the Depot and the Company.
