Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a large, coeducational secondary school in Tameside who are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant on a flexible, temporary basis for general SEN support, starting in September.

The school is requiring the support of an SEN Teaching Assistant to assist pupils with general and mild Special Education Needs (SEN) with a range of learning tasks, to ensure pupils are well prepared to reach their full potential in their studies from the start of the new academic year.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your day to day responsibilities will vary but will mainly involve supporting identified pupils with learning and behaviour needs across a range of core subjects, in smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the pupils across KS3 and KS4, maximising their engagement and have a flexible approach to learning. Previous experience in a similar capacity is very desirable.
