Associate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

My client is an international Building Services Consultants who have completed award winning projects throughout Europe with construction values up to �300 million.

With 3 offices in the UK and Associated Partners around the world, they have access to some of the most exciting projects available.

They are looking for an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in Central London and lead their Mechanical business with a realistic route to Directorship as the company grows further.

Key Responsibilities

�Design leadership of multiple projects and managing Senior Engineers
�Leading project meetings with teams of Design Engineers
�Technical design and development of building servicing concept
�Developing sustainable building design on projects through your team
�Technical leadership of design and providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team
�Projecting and monitoring project profitability and efficiency
�Assist in marketing for new business opportunities, playing an active role in work winning and growing the overall business
�Managing resource of the Mechanical team

Key Requirements

�Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
�Chartered status through either IMechE or CIBSE.
�Proven 10+ years of design experience across a varied portfolio of small to large scale projects.
�Proven experience in Commercial, mixed use and office projects and leading projects in these sectors whilst managing design teams
�Solid experience in undertaking design of HVAC systems
�Thorough knowledge of the sustainability related statutory legislation, standards and drivers in the construction industry
�Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
�Good planning and organisational skills.
�Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
