Manchester based secondary school are looking to recruit an RE teacher for an upcoming post in September due to an upcoming staff departure. Located in central Manchester this is an excellent opportunity for a Religious Education teacher coming to the end of a contract, teacher training programme or long term supply post.

The school has around 1200 students on roll, high levels of students who use English as an additional language and well above average number of students eligible for free school meals at 53%. RE teachers interested in this post will need to have qualified teacher stratus in the UK, experience teaching in a UK secondary school. Applicants will need to provide references and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS application.

This inner city Manchester school has excellent transport links for those who don’t drive in addition to modern state of the art facilities and teaching aids. This provides an excellent platform for teaching and ensuring students achieve their expected levels of progress. Initially starting through Teaching Personnel there is the opportunity to earn a school based contract after a term.
