The Role

The school has a couple of opportunities for LSA's to join their caring and committed supported learning department from September. Full time, 30 hour week roles are available and a typical day might include duties such as;

* Supporting 11-16 year olds across the curriculum in small groups or 1:1 in class
* Supporting pupils with additional needs outside of the classroom with their work
* Setting up and clearing away of classrooms and resources
* Helping to support the teacher with classroom behaviour management

These roles will be ideal for any graduate looking to get started in an educational role to gain experience ready for teacher training, any individual with an existing background in support work, any teachers looking to step away from the responsibility of teaching but still contributing within education.
