* Full time role, term time only
* September 2019 start date
* Working hours 8:30am – 3pm
* �275 - �350 per week, paid on a weekly basis

Due to the expansion of our client school, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their successful SEN department in the new academic year. (September 2019) The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, supporting students with various Special Educational Needs.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant at our client school, you will provide day to day support delivering 1:1, paired and small group teaching and learning sessions. You will work with key pupils to help develop their self confidence and academic progress whilst monitoring behaviour and assisting with any behavioural issues. You will also help plan lessons by preparing materials and resources.

We are looking someone who is well organised, has good planning skills, and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Our client school is located in central Manchester and has over 1000 pupils on roll. The school has an inner city catchment area providing education for a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Due to its inner city location, the school has excellent connections to universities, employers and a number of fantastic opportunities.
