A new opportunity has become available for a CQC Manager to join a well established Dental Company with practices across South East of England.
This role will report directly to the Head of Compliance, working with the Compliance Team, Transactions Team, Clinical Team and Chief Clinical Officer.
The purpose of the post holder is to ensure that people who use services are safeguarded by a rigorous but proportionate registration process as well assisting with reviewing the services within the practices in accordance with the CQC Principles.
This is a full-time role and will be based in  Brentwood, Essex. You will, on occasion be required to attend meetings taking place on site at the dental practices.
The role and responsibilities:
The post holder will be working closely with the Head of Compliance to facilitate an effective and robust clinical audit programme that improves high standards of care and treatment for patients and service users as well as supporting continuous service improvement.
The post holder will produce relevant reports on audit performance to the organisation and guide site management to carry out the work needed to ensure that practices meet the requirements related to external audits.
As a CQC Registrations & Contracts Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Keeping up to date with lines of responsibility and accountability for the quality of clinical care
2. Creating and maintaining a means by which all members of the dental team can be involved in the development of good practice
3. Creating and maintaining a means by which patients can be involved in the development of dental care services as well as being appropriately informed about their proposed treatment
4. Creating and maintaining clear policies for managing risk
5. Creating and maintaining procedures for all members of the dental practice to identify and remedy poor performance
Essential skills:
1. Understanding of the company’s vision and strategic direction
2. Experience and knowledge of the CQC regulations
3. Experience working in compliance, quality or the dental sector.
4. Ability to effectively operate at all levels within the organisation within a critical services environment.
5. To represent the Company in a way which ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
6. You should also have excellent organisational and influencing skills, communication skills, report writing skills as well as use of Microsoft Office Packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Email.
Desirable skills
1.  Experience of designing data collection strategies and summarising data
2. Previous audit experience within a health care organisation
3.  Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of audit
4. An understanding of quality systems and their use in business management
5. An understanding of human resources issues for both the team and wider business
6. Flexible to meet the challenging needs of the business
