Experienced Diesel Plant fitter - based Addlestone

Salary: Competitive based upon experience and skill

The company

Our client are the leading independent tool and plant Hire Company in the area serving both domestic and commercial customers .With a large selection of all the latest equipment they are able to deliver the highest level of service in the tool and plant hire business They are able to serve all of Surrey, London and the Home Counties .They specialise in the hire of mini-diggers and skip loading dumpers as well as having a large stock of alloy access towers and scaffolding equipment.

The Role

EXPERIENCED DIESEL PLANT FITTER AT EPSOM DEPOT

Duties
Ensuring that all machinery is maintained /serviced to the excellent standard that the business pride themselves upon.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday 8.00am to 12.30am
Essential Requirements

Applicant must be over 21 (for insurance purposes)

Previous experience with diesel maintenance is absolutely essential
- Clean and full driving license (preferred)
- Previous experience of plant industry is essential including mini digger, skid loader etc
- Experience in fault finding

-Ensuring that all equipment is safe, roadworthy, and complies with legislation, including support paperwork and certification.
- Effective communicator within the team and with customers if required
- Ensuring that all products that are hired to customers are safe and have been properly tested in accordance with company procedures.

Key Skills

NVQ level 2/3 Plant maintenance ( preferred )

Able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of diesel equipment repair and routine servicing

Sound technical knowledge and experience

Health and Safety aware and compliance

Experienced in mechanical and electrical plant repair, customer focus, polite, quick thinking, good communicator both internally and externally, completion of required paperwork and reports
