Administrator - Horsham District Council Contract

Your new role

Joining our team as an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient administration service for the Horsham Office to support the operational team in delivering maintenance services to the council. Your tasks will include:

- Recording accurate information on a helpdesk jobs from engineers, subcontractors and clients.
- Ensuring all systems are kept updated with required information
- Responding to internal and client emails and manage the shared email inbox
- Supporting the resource controller to plan and deliver the day by sending the right operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring operatives and sub-contractors arrive on time and in the most cost-effective manner.
- Scheduling office safety tasks and carry out materials and equipment ordering as required
- Ensuring issues are being captured and feedback to the Resource Controller/ Contract Manager.
- Carrying out customer satisfaction surveys and support in compiling monthly client reports
- Deputising the role of a Resource Controller potentially at short notice to cover holidays, sickness or any other period of absence that may require the support of the role.

What you will need to succeed as an Administrator...

- Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel with accurate keyboard skills
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades and the tasks/activities that can be undertaken by each trade group.
- Good understanding of Geographical areas including streets and buildings, finding the best routes, and travel times between different locations.
- GCSE or Equivalent in Qualification in Maths and English.
- NVQ in business administration or equivalent (Desirable)
