We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Community Rapid Response and Reablement Team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey , in the Channel Islands.

You will perform a specialist community OT role to assess the functional needs of adults who have complex health, social and housing needs, including those with frailty and chronic illness.
To provide a specialist response in complex and highly complex cases, formulating and implementing intervention plans and manage a defined caseload and complex cases as an autonomous practitioner, evidencing high-level problem solving, reasoning skills and independence of judgement.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The current Guernsey Band 7 salary is up to �50,172.

This unique integrated health service delivers a diverse range of services including diagnosing and treating patients in the island's acute hospital complex, and supporting people with in the wider community.
Providing excellent care, supported by modern equipment and reliant on AHPs recruited to a high standard.

Person requirements
Qualified Occupational with full HCPC registration.
At least three years post-registration experience.
The ability to carry and manage your own caseload effectively
Experienced in supervision of Students and OT Assistants, and assisting in the orientation of junior qualified OTs.
To be willing and able to work as part of a flexible OT Service and a wider multi-disciplinary team in a variety of settings
