The company

Our client is a growing developer undertaking various projects around the North Somerset region. .They are very focused on delivery of a high quality product for the customer .To assist in their growth they are seeking an experienced and financially astute individual to financially manage various sites .This requires an individual with an exceptional eye for detail, a drive to ensure financial targets are met and the necessary experience to manage the financial process from inception to completion . Only those with relevant experience with a housing development background should apply.

The Role

The Quantity Surveyor will be a senior member of the team who has experience in the financial management of several sites operating at the same time .They will have appropriate experience in the residential field and be capable of handling all Q.S responsibilities from estimation through to valuation and cost to complete etc. In addition the preparation of tender documents, assessing, appointing, and financially managing sub-contractors is a key part of the role .Ability to operate alone, as well as being a team player, manage time efficiently, and handle the P&L on various sites is essential .You will be able to provide reporting information to the board and encourage those around you to understand and consider financial aspects of site contracting.

Essential Requirements

3-5 years Q.S. experience specifically in housing development

Associated qualifications BSc / R.I.C.S. or equivalent

Key Skills

P&L driven, quality focus ,full financial control and reporting ,tender documentation, estimating, valuation, final accounts, sub-contract financial management
