Are you a highly organised Project Co-ordinator / Scheduler, with strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate multiple business activities with different timelines? If so, this could be the ideal position for you. A brand-new permanent role has arisen in Worthing, West Sussex, for a Scheduler to oversee the organisation of Development projects within a leading Pharmaceutical organisation.

A pioneering Europe-based Pharmaceutical organisation specialising in the treatment and prevention of life-threatening medical conditions. The company employs around 270 people in Worthing and has an excellent reputation for providing career development opportunities, challenging and engaging work and a pleasant, vibrant working environment.
 
The Role
 
This is a fascinating and intellectually challenging role based in the Development team which undertakes a range of projects to improve drug products, investigate new ideas, and support the licensing of the company’s drugs in different countries across Europe and the USA.
 
With constant communication across different teams, you will co-ordinate, plan and prioritise activities to ensure that projects are completed correctly and on time. You will learn all about the company’s scientific and commercial demands and objectives, and will support the operational and budgetary management of the Development group so that resources are allocated correctly.
 
A lot of your work will be based around Excel, though you will also encounter other systems for the organisation of scientific data and the scheduling of operational activities. We are therefore looking for someone with strong IT skills and an understanding of how to plan different project activities with varying lead times (anything from 3-12 months in advance).
 
Clear communication will be essential, so you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and work in a calm, honest and positive way.
 
Experience
 
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to work alongside scientists and non-scientists at different levels. Whilst a degree (particularly in science) would be helpful, the most important thing is experience. We are looking for someone with a proven ability to work in a time-pressured role with multiple variables and components to projects. If you have worked in a project-based or account management-based role in a busy commercial organisation, this is a role in which you would really thrive.
