Sales Manager (TV/RTB/Video on Demand) - London

£60k basic + 40% comm

My client, a premium video advertising agency specialising in TV advertising and programmatic video campaigns is looking for an Sales Manager with TV/Programmatic experience in a sales capacity and to acquire new customers and manage client relationships from both Brand Advertiser and Agency spaces. Video or VOD knowledge is helpful but not essential for this role.

The agency addresses the demand for brand-safe environments and high-quality pan-European online video campaigns at scale. They focus on programmatic video campaigns, which involves the automated and data-driven management of digital advertising purchases and sales.

The agency designs a joint innovation strategy to create new ways for advertisers to reach their customers. They leverage technology, research and premium content effectively to maintain the highest standard of quality and innovation for its digital media offerings.

They offer an extraordinary brand safe and viewable inventory of 800 MILLION PREMIUM VIDEO VIEWS to international companies where they can communicate with consumers at scale.

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced and high-performing Sales Manager to help it meet its customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and seeking out new agencies relationships.

You will be of an entrepreneurial mind-set and possess great sales skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organisational abilities.

The goal is to promote and expand the agency sales activity and generate revenues to sustainable growth.


Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships from both Brand Advertiser and Agency spaces (new and existing) Create and deliver new business pitches

Maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities including forecasting monthly and quarterly revenues

Work with other internal functions, advising on the competitive commercial landscape and helping to ensure the agency's proposition remains competitive and highly valued

Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

Identify emerging opportunities and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status


3-5yrs+ TV/Programmatic experience in a sales capacity

An in-depth understanding of TV advertising ecosystem and familiarity with ATV formats and solutions

Previous experience as Sales Manager, with clearly demonstrable success at achieving or exceeding revenue targets

Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients

Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mind-set

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

Strong business sense and industry expertise
