As an RE teacher, you will be planning and delivering lessons to pupils in both KS3 and KS4. At KS3, you will deliver topics such as: the importance of scripture, ideas of God, the Gospels and Judaism. At KS4, pupils study ideas including: creation, pilgrimage, evangelisation, discipleship, the Trinity and eschatology. Through study of these topics, you will be able to encourage pupils to truly consider and understand the depth of their curriculum content.

Located close to the M56, the school is easily accessible by car, but is also well serviced by public transport, so can be reached without issue irrespective of your transport preferences.

The position is a full time role starting at the beginning of January 2020 and is a temporary to permanent role. There are regular CPD and career progression opportunities available, and you would be paid in line with your scale point MPS-UPS. This RE teacher role would be well suited to both experienced practitioners and newly qualified teachers.

To be eligible for this RE position you will need to be available for full time work, have QTS in the UK, suitable school-based references and be able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
