Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large Secondary Academy in Salford who is currently looking to recruit a new Maths teacher to join their department. Due to a last minute staffing restructure, our client academy is in need of a dynamic Maths teacher who can start immediately.

* Full-time role teaching both Maths and IT, for an immediate start until the end of the academic year.
* Pay in line with teaching scale point (�24,373 - �40,490 per annum).
* Access to the school’s full training programmes alongside Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy.
* Must hold subject specific qualifications in Maths with experience teaching IT.
* Teaching a full timetable for pupils aged 11-16 including Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

The successful Maths teacher will be expected to;

* Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for both Maths and IT.
* Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Maths and IT lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.
* Assess and evaluate class work reporting back to Senior Teachers in order to take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives.
* Promote positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.

Our client school is located in Salford and can be accessed via the M60 and M61 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Bury. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bolton, Bury and central Manchester.
