Teaching personnel is currently working with an Autism provision in Maidenhead that is looking for a teaching assistant or autism tutors to join them after half term and on the New Year 2020! The school is growing and have new pupils due to start, resulting in a team expansion and future opportunities for career progression.

The provision caters for pupils of primary and secondary age and each child has a individualised intervention plans specific to there needs.

Experience in a similar environment is ideal however not essential as they will offer support, guidance and training on how to deliver the interventions programmes and manage behaviour.

You will work 1:1 with 3-4 key children and track progress using data sheets and written reports. This will allow for the intervention programmes to be assessed and adapted to further support pupils' development.


* Strong Behaviour Management Skills
* Understanding of Autism from studying or practical experience
* Confident working 1:1 with pupil
* Excellent communication skills
* Dedicated and commitment to a career in the Education sector supporting Special Needs
* Keen to take on the training programmes offered

The provision requires staff Monday to Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm. Training takes place between 15.30pm - 16.30pm Monday to Thursday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
