We are now looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join our team in Taunton, 22.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday

Credit Controller Responsibilities include:

- Liaise with customers by telephone, email or any other appropriate means regarding invoicing and payments.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers and depots
- Deal with copy invoice requests from depot and customers
- Keep accounts updated with all actions/communications to give an accurate reflection of the account history
- Liaise with depots and sites to progress/prompt payment of invoices where applicable
- Log customers invoice queries and where required, assist with their resolution.
- Take proactive action on accounts to prevent issues occuring
- Provide regular updates on large/complex accounts
- Work as a team member to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department

The ideal Credit Controller will have:

- Preferably experience of working in a Credit Control/Finance department but not essential.
- Experience of working within an office and/or administrative role where there is a focus on good customer service.
- A good level of IT literacy and experience of Microsoft Office
- Take a proactive and accountable approach to their work, identifying problems and solutions as appropriate.
- A good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Discretion and be able to work with confidential information
- Resilience and be able to deal with challenging situations trying to achieve positive outcomes for all
