I am working with an SEN school in Bournemouth who are looking for a teaching assistant to work in their primary department.. They are looking for someone with experience of working with children with special needs as they have several new students with severe additional needs - whether your experience has been within a school, nursery or in care - we would love to hear from you.

The vacancy will involve supporting with a variety of activities and day to day routines. When you are not working with these pupils, the rest of the school day will be spent providing general support across the school.

Teaching assistant requirements-

* Have experience working with children with learning difficulties, ideally supported with communication needs (desirable but not essential)
* Have a good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
* Have a strong academic background in English and mathematics (GCSE A-C)
* Be a positive role model for the pupils
* Believe in high expectations and be committed to seeing that every child reaches their full potential
* Be a good team player to work alongside the rest of the team
* Create an engaging and stimulating learning environment
* Be able to inspire learning in and beyond the classroom
