Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Salford to recruit a Teaching Assistant for January 2020.

Due to additional pupils requiring extra support, our client secondary school is looking for a new Teaching Assistant. Many of these pupils have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or learning difficulties and are struggling to meet their attainment grades as a result of these difficulties. Our client school is hoping that the recruitment of an additional Teaching Assistant will ensure these pupils have the guidance they require to reach their targets.

* Full-time Teaching Assistant required from January 2020.
* Supporting pupils with additional needs such as SEN or learning difficulties.
* Provide 1:1 support alongside organising group activities for identified pupils.
* Earn up to �300 per week, dependent on your experience.
* Work alongside the class teacher to ensure all pupils have the correct support they need.

To work as a Teaching Assistant in our client school, you must meet the following application requirements:

* Must have experience working in an educational setting or skills that are transferrable to the educational sector.
* Any personal or work related experience with SEN or learning difficulties is desired.

Roles and responsibilities

* Supporting the class teacher.
* Helping to plan intervention activities for identified pupils.
* Providing 1:1 and small group support within the classroom.
* Providing additional support in core subjects such as English and Maths.
* Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and specific SEN such as Autism and ADHD.

Located in central Salford, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the A580 and the M602 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Bury, Bolton and central Manchester.
