.Our Corporate Affairs Co-ordinator will support our efforts to protect and build our corporate and brand reputation in the media and online and for communicating corporate messages to colleagues, customers and media. The Corporate Affairs Co-ordinator will monitor reputational threats and opportunities and ensure the are prepared to handle both. The Corporate Affairs Co-ordinator will provide support to projects within the department and support the production of internal events.
 
This role will support our efforts to protect and build our corporate and brand reputation in the media and online and for communicating corporate messages to colleagues, customers and media.

Main ResponsibilitiesMedia management a. Under direction of Corporate Affairs Manager:


Document agreed media statements and communications plans and share with internal stakeholders for approval
Product briefing materials to support effective media appearances
Receive incoming media enquiries and document in agreed format
Support effective relationship building with key internal stakeholders.  


Monitor reputational threats and opportunities – including via social media - and ensure that we are prepared to handle both.


Day-to-day monitoring of social media brand presence
Manage incoming comments via social media and escalate according to agreed customer service process  


Events & Meetings


Support Internal Communications Manager in production of internal events (e.g. Your Co-op), including room bookings, catering and other logistics.


General project support


Copywriting & content production to support a range of corporate affairs projects (e.g. Annual Report etc.)
 Liaising with corporate sponsors to implement sponsorship agreement

The Ideal Candidate• Excellent written skills for a range of communications channels

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively and build consensus 

• Corporate communications experience

• Resilient, positive and solutions focused mindset.

• Full UK driving license
