A local authority is looking for an interim Community & Environmental Support Manager with the ability to provide business support to Community and Environmental Services through effective financial, programme and project management in line with the Council's framework. You will be engaging with customers to plan for and make happen successful launch of a new processes.
This position will involve supporting the successful development, delivery and monitoring of key projects managed by Community & Environmental Services. You will be developing and managing businesses cases and funding applications for new projects.
Other aspect of this role will include the preparation and co-ordination of the Service Plan and Quarterly Review ensuring that they are delivered within the corporate planning timetable.
We are looking for candidates that have previous project management experience, including the management of complex projects and budgets. You must have experience of project development, business planning and accessing different funding streams to support project delivery. With knowledge of tendering and procurement processes.
You should also have either MAPM, Prince II practitioner or other suitable professional qualification or equivalent experience.
