A secondary school in the Wilmslow/Knutsford area is looking for a History teacher to join their Humanities department from January 2020. The successful candidate will be delivering the AQA History syllabus up to GCSE level, so needs to have a demonstrable track record of raising pupil attainment. There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to deliver History at KS5, though the ability to teach A-level is not essential. In order to be considered for this role, candidates must hold QTS in the UK and must have either have a DBS on the Update service, or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.

The school is located a short distance from the M6 and M56, and is also well serviced by public transport, making it accessible to all candidates from the areas around Altrincham, Lymm, Northwich, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Congleton, Macclesfield and Stockport.
