Early Years Practitioner, Greater Manchester.

£17,500 - £18,500

We are working with a unique Nursery based in Tameside to recruit a passionate and creative Early Years Educator. The Nursery has excellent facilities, which aid the children to reach their true potential, and they are lucky enough to benefit from impressive outdoor space and a Pets Corner!

The role is full time 40 hours per week, and the Management team are flexible with start and finish times.

Responsibilities include

- Observe, support and extend childrens learning.
- Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Maintain accurate and effective children's records.
- Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
- Work with SENCO, EYFS advisors, health professionals and professional agencies as appropriate.
- Learn about current developments in childcare and education policy and practice.
- Be a key person, carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
- Be responsible for planning child centred experiences for a group of key children.
- Be actively involved in implementing the curriculum plans within the room. Health and Safety


The successful candidate will:

- Have a minimum NVQ Level 3 and have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. ?
- Be an experienced practitioner who shows passion and commitment to outstanding early years teaching
- Plan child centred experiences which promote independence
- Work as part of a collaborative team
- Be confident modelling their teaching skills for others
- Develop and promote positive relationships with parents
